Citation Tools and other Information Literacy Resources
Purdue Owl Online Writing Lab has many writing tools to help you, including examples and how to cite a variety of resources in different citation styles . Use their tabs on the left of their webpage to navigate the type of writing help you need. The Research and Citation tab will give you examples of APA, MLA, and Chicago Manual of Style for citing a variety of sources.
Bib Me is a quick resource for building an online bibliography and citation maker, in whichever style format you need.
Cite This For Me will help you create citations, reference lists, or build your bibliography page in easy to follow steps. Simply select the type of resource (DVD, magazine, podcasts, etc.) and which citation style you want. Watch your bibliography page get created before your eyes. Easy to use!
EVALUATING YOUR SOURCES

This You Tube video gives a brief introduction on using citations. It is a great source to begin with if you are not sure about the how/why of citing each of your sources that you use in projects and papers. Once you find information, you will want to evaluate that source to see if it is accurate, credible, and reliable. Follow the evaluation checklist with the tabs on the left to see if your source is appropriate. |

A pathfinder is a "path" to help you "find" resources that may help you in your research. These may include books and online resources including databases. Please feel free to ask the librarian if you need further assistance.

Very easy to use, and free! Biteable is a free, online video maker. Create presentations, infographics, and more. Adobe Spark is great for web or mobile users.
