February brought a showcase of numerous books about relationships and love. Many students enjoyed reading (or rereading) some of these that were displayed.
April brought "Read Across America". Books with plots from each of the 50 states were displayed along with the state where the book took place. Students helped to create this list of books and the state each book represented. After reading a book, students then worked on creating a jigsaw puzzle by placing their state in the correct spot. |
